Contraception The Choice is yours

About Talk Choice

At whatever stage of life, women should be choosing what they want from their contraception. Talk Choice aims to give women the information needed to start and guide contraception conversations with a doctor (or nurse/pharmacist) and raise their voice for choice!

Getting the method right is important. If contraception doesn't fit with a woman's lifestyle it might not be used properly, so increasing the risk of unplanned pregnancy. Around half of pregnancies in the UK are still unplanned.1,2

Women who are dissatisfied probably won't consider a change because they don't think there's an alternative that would suit them better.3

There are loads of contraceptive options to choose from! And each suit women with different sex, work and family lives.

"Contraception is a normal part of modern life but isn't being given the time and attention it deserves. We need to start talking about and offering choice so that women have a method that suits their lifestyle and are effectively protected against unplanned pregnancy."
